Why do I feel sad? Am I supposed to?

It's great!

omg the nemesis ambition,, genuinely one of my favs from fallen london and one that absolutely devastated me. soo hyped to see a game abt it

tender, expanding, lovely

Great game! Like others, I loved the juxtaposition of lush and icy--very fitting. And I was totally delighted when I took a look at this game in Twine :).

Thank you!! I had a really indulgent time writing some of the prose, and I’m glad it seems to have panned out well. And ahah, yay! I’m glad- always fun to encounter little surprises like that. :-)

I really enjoyed this! Tension underlying beauty, and vice versa. And the choice. <3

I’m glad to hear that you did! Such a wonderful comment. The choice was super fun to put in- I love a good looped tie in to the start. :-)

The prose here is really delicate and enjoyable. If I could register one small nit, I feel like the pace jolted up suddenly in the last bit. (That could also me being slow to pick up on the hints of the first bit.)

Thanks so much, for the kind words and feedback! 'Delicate' isn't often a descriptor I hear applied to my prose, and it's delightful to hear. Cheers!

Double extra super points for the shape of the story passages inside Twine :D

Definitely captures a Fallen London feel.

My only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that vertically centring the passages would have made it much easier to read on full-screen.

Haha, yay! I'm glad that you enjoyed the heart- it was a silly little bit of fun I had with arranging the passages. I'm so pleased to hear that you felt it captured Fallen London's feel- the game has been a staple in my life for the *longest* time and I do adore it so, it's a major inspiration! Thanks so much for the feedback.
