Great game! Like others, I loved the juxtaposition of lush and icy--very fitting. And I was totally delighted when I took a look at this game in Twine :).

The prose here is really delicate and enjoyable. If I could register one small nit, I feel like the pace jolted up suddenly in the last bit. (That could also me being slow to pick up on the hints of the first bit.)

I'm so pleased to hear that you felt it captured Fallen London's feel- the game has been a staple in my life for the *longest* time and I do adore it so, it's a major inspiration! Definitely captures a Fallen London feel.
My only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that vertically centring the passages would have made it much easier to read on full-screen.
