This is so cool??? Very creepy and dream-like, yet very sweet at the same time. Michael was also so cool, comforting and terrifying at the same time. I love stories with eldritch-type beings as the protectors of small children. Great job!
A chilling and confusing snippet of life told through the eyes of a small child dealing with struggling parental figures, in a gothic style.
This was both horrifying AND wonderful to (re-)read. Everything is hidden in plain sight,but also wrapped in a strange dreamy wrapping.
